The Shan noodle bar at breakfast was a highlight, and the staff also helped arrange several rides and accommodated us outside normal meal hours. They were attentive throughout. We found the rooms comfortable and nicely appointed, while the historic feel of the property made it especially peaceful. Kalaw Heritage Hotel is a beautiful, welcoming place in the Shan hills. We'd gladly recommend it.

We were a group of 14 adults and stayed one night. The view was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were nice and breakfast was good. There's no heating system, but the shower had really hot water.

The garden and bar have a lovely atmosphere, and the breakfast buffet is very good with lots of choice. The building is beautiful, with its original structure well preserved. The staff were especially kind and went out of their way to help us sort out some airline problems. We'll definitely return next time we're in Kalaw!

Set among the pine trees on a hill, the hotel has large, clean rooms and excellent service.

The grounds are full of colorful flowers and big trees, and the coffee is great. People come for photos and to try it. The food is well cooked and has traditional Shan flavors. The rooms are large, with quick warm water, and the more than 100-year-old buildings are well maintained.
