The rooms and compound are spacious, and the facilities are good apart from the air-con. But our one-night stay in July 2019, during a peak period, was terrible. The air-con wouldn't cool the room. We complained in the afternoon, and they tried hard to repair it instead of moving us. We were finally allowed into another room almost at midnight, once they accepted there was a fault. Breakfast was so-so. The croissant I took had mold on it, and the fruit plates were left uncovered in an open space. There were no e-bikes available at the hotel. I won't choose this hotel again in Bagan.

The rooms, service, and atmosphere were nice, but at night there was hardly any lighting. I'm sure I heard a door slam in an empty room.
