The pool is long and deep enough for a proper swim, and the grounds were generally well kept. The room was solid, with a large, nice bathroom, though I’m not a fan of the shower and bathtub combined. It had a musty smell at first, but that faded after a few hours. There was also a strange black stain and something on the bed when I arrived, maybe rat poop, I don’t know. Once they remade the room the next day, it was great. The location and breakfast were good, and beer was reasonably priced, at least. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. Late checkout wasn’t available because so many tourists were staying here and in Bagan generally. Otherwise, it’s near plenty of good restaurants, mini marts, cafes, and e-bike rental stalls. I’d consider coming back.
