The owner is a kind, helpful older lady. She arranged a one-day Tutu charter around Bagan Temple, bought our night bus tickets back to Yangon, and let us check out late for free so we could catch the 17:30 bus. We could ask staff for breakfast whenever we wanted, and they would prepare it. Getting onto the bus made me nervous because we had no tickets or proof of boarding, and the person helping us changed several times. In the end, we boarded smoothly. The main hassle at the guest house was electricity, which went off for long stretches several times a day. When power was on, WiFi and mobile data were still poor, and phone signal was weak throughout the place. Even so, I strongly recommend staying here.

The internet was the one real letdown, barely working in the daytime and impossible to connect to in the evening. The rest of my three-night stay was great: friendly staff, a good location, clean toilet and showers, quiet nights, and a comfy bed. Breakfast was free, huge, and tasty, easily my favorite part.

We got in from the night bus at 4:30 am and were taken straight to the room we’d booked, so we could sleep another five hours and feel much better for the day in Bagan. We stayed two nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast changed from day to day and was enjoyable. If you need gluten-free food, be sure to firmly ask for rice. E-bikes are available to rent for 6000ks a day, and they were good. Rooms are also well priced.

Breakfast was included and came in a generous serving, with local choices as well as toast and egg. We had a clean, comfortable economy room upstairs, with a chair and bedside table, and the staff were caring and friendly. The shared bathroom was downstairs at the other end, a bit of a walk. Check the shower’s hot water before getting undressed, since it didn’t always work. The hallway also got noisy at night when other guests were around.
