I booked through viber and got a confirmed reservation. Then I asked if a tuktuk was available, and the owner said they'd cancel because they had “a feeling” it wasn't a suitable option for us. Being turned away after booking just because they don't feel like having you? I've never experienced anything like it in all my travels. Screenshots are attached. I rarely leave extremely negative reviews, but this one deserves it. True hospitality. Avoid like a plague.

I've been staying at this vista for 6 years, and it's my go-to in kalaw. The view is breathtaking, especially from the top room or the side rooms, and the staff are super friendly. Breakfast has options for both western and local tastes, and the shan kawswe is delicious. Looking forward to coming back :-)

We really enjoyed the quiet setting of this B and B and the sounds of nature. The staff gave excellent service, breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We recommend it!

We only stayed one night, but it was a great visit. The host was friendly and very helpful. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and breakfast was great.

The owner made the stay extra special and was an absolutely amazing human. The staff were helpful and worked around the odd bus travel hours to and from Kalaw. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with a smile, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We've stayed in several places in Kalaw, but we'll stay here anytime we visit now.
