We got in at 5 in the morning after eight hours of travel, and the staff let us check in then, which was a huge help for me and my three kids. We stayed in a large, comfortable suite bungalow, with one child on an extra bed. The grounds were beautiful, and the kids used the pools every day. Staff were helpful and arranged some great tours at reasonable prices. The restaurant was pricey for the area, but still reasonable and convenient. Getting around was easy by taxi, scooter, or horse cart, all just minutes away. One small hassle was the rain shower, which splashed water everywhere. I’d definitely stay again.

It’s a bit removed from the rest of Bagan, but we had a really comfortable stay. Breakfast had a great range of choices, and dinner was good too, though pricey. We arrived before check-in time, which was our own planning mistake, and the hotel gave us free upgrades so we wouldn’t have to wait. The service was fantastic. One attendant spent half an hour showing us how to ride the rental bikes.

The staff were all friendly, and the hotel itself was nice and well kept, but I wouldn’t choose it again. It’s far from restaurants, so you need a bike or taxi. The staff seemed a little lost at times, and the pool area wasn’t inviting. The mats there were kind of dirty. Breakfast offered a huge variety, maybe too much, since the quality seemed to get lost. It just wasn’t the right place for us.

For the price, you get a lot. It’s in a great spot for seeing what Bagan has to offer, and the staff are friendly and speak enough English to handle what you need. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the pool is big. Breakfast is a lovely buffet with Western and Asian classics, fresh juice, breads, and more.

We had an early check-in and late check-out to fit our bus schedule, which the friendly, courteous staff arranged for us. The rates felt reasonable for what you get. The decor is thoughtfully done and the rooms are quite large. You can rent e-bikes at the resort for exploring Bagan’s pagodas, and there’s a golf course next door if that’s your thing. Breakfast was expansive and filling, and lunch and dinner options were excellent too. It really does live up to its name, quite amazing.
