The rooms are basic and clean, though a little small and sometimes cool. The staff were friendly and helpful with travel information, and it’s good value if you’re exploring Kalaw on a budget. Parami Motel is close to the market, with restaurants and trekking offices an easy walk away.

We had a clean dorm, a comfortable bed, towels, and a good hot shower. Breakfast was big and tasty, and the price was the cheapest. The staff were so nice and let us check in early when we asked. It’s an amazing hostel, close to trekking companies and restaurants. Thank you!

The one good thing was that they let us check in at 4am after our night bus. Otherwise, it wasn’t a great stay. The staff weren’t very friendly, and the room was super cold. Shower water swung between freezing and boiling, with nothing in between.

The location is great, right downtown with interesting places nearby. We stayed one night and arrived at 10 to find the electricity cut off. I don’t know why.
