Breakfast could use more variety, and during our two nights nobody emptied the rubbish bin. We also had trouble with the bathroom water: first there was no hot water, then no water at all, though the issue was eventually fixed. The staff’s English wasn’t very good. They’d answer “YES” to questions, so we couldn’t get useful tourist information.

For $13 a night, our double room was really good value. The service was great, the room was clean, breakfast was good, and we could use bicycles for free. The only small downside was how many staff came to greet us in the morning. Having 8 people meet us at reception felt a bit unnecessary.

We hired 2 double rooms for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and very helpful, lending us bicycles for free and showing us what we needed to know. We got back late from Ubein Bridge, but they still served us breakfast at 10.30. Thank you.

The street and temples make this area extremely noisy. They play everything through loud speakers from 04.00 - 12.00. The staff were lovely and helpful, but they can only work with what they have. The place needs updating, the wifi was bad, and not many people spoke English.

The staff were the best, they helped us with everything. It’s a lovely hotel for a very good price, with a good location, a nice breakfast, and great views from the roof.
