I wasn't happy with how the hotel was run. Most of the staff seemed poorly trained in customer service, though the owner appeared to understand it and I saw him trying to teach them during breakfast and at reception. Even after paying for my whole stay, reception asked me every day whether I was staying another night. When I asked if the night staff could pass records to the day staff, they surprisingly said no. I also wasn't given a receipt for my advance payment. When I asked, they just wrote it on a note and handed that over. What a strange way to handle it. The breakfast was quite bad, and they said they wouldn't clean the room unless I asked. The pillows were much too flat and thin to sleep on.
