We stayed in a bungalow near the swimming pool. The rooms were clean and good, though not very large. The staff were very kind and helpful, and breakfast was a strong point, with a buffet of traditional dishes, toast, and eggs cooked as you like. The city centre is noisy, and the nearby train station adds to it, with trains sounding their horns often.

The swimming pool and rooms in the main building are nice, and there's a lovely compound with a free puppet show at night. The bungalow rooms, though, are small and not clean enough. Breakfast was okay, but they charge you for bringing in an outside box. Customer service wasn't good.

There are bungalow rooms and a swimming pool. The hotel offers nice, affordable room rates in the downtown area, near the train station, shopping mall, Mandalay Palace, and tertiary hospital centre.

For a double with breakfast, this is great value if you can get a deal under $40. The hotel is old, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is so-so, and the location and pool are great.

A lovely garden hotel right in the centre of Mandalay, with very friendly staff. The supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. I recommend it.
