Sakura Princess Hotel

The shower cream smelled so good, and I really liked the small gym. My room was a little smaller than rooms at other hotels in the same price range. Wi-Fi was terrible and stopped connecting. My two friends were on different floors and had the same problem, so I used mobile internet the whole time.

The tamarind juice they serve as a welcome drink was lovely. There's plenty of space in the hotel compound, so parking was easy. The bellboy, security staff, and reception team were all welcoming and smiling. Our room was very clean, and whenever we went out each day, they cleaned it and replaced the towels, sheets, and water bottles. The hotel is near the southern Mandalay palace. Breakfast was wonderful, with coffee, tea, eggs, yogurt, healthy food, fried rice and noodles, Rice with Peapyount, Kaungnying Baung, Mohingga, Rakhine Monty, Shan noodles, banana, watermelon, and papaya. Such a nice buffet.

I’ve been back to this hotel several times since 2017, including a two-week stay in December 2018, and it’s never let me down. The rooms are clean, the staff are professional, and the atmosphere is lovely. I’m already looking forward to staying again. Kudos to the management and team. I’d recommend it to families and business travelers visiting Mandalay.

The breakfast was great, and the agreed rate was just 40,000 kyats per night. The AC was okay, though not very cold, and the TV felt small for a superior room. The minibar was expensive, and the parking staff weren’t very friendly. There’s a lot nearby, including a car spa, beer stations, cafes, a hospital, and KTV.
