The staff gave us five-star service, and the shower was good and hot. The rooms were okay, though ours had a musty smell when we first walked in. Everything looked very old and could use some redecorating. Breakfast was limited, with little flavor in the main dishes, which were egg, rice noodles, and soup. I'd still recommend it, especially for the price.

We came for two nights at the beginning of April and stayed four. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with plenty of food and drinks and a good range of choices. Most were Asian dishes, but there was also bread, butter, jam, and fried eggs, and you could go back as often as you liked. The place was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and they provided soup and towels. It's pretty good for the price. One receptionist was rude and unhelpful, though, which cost it a star.

My room was clean and had its own bathroom. The staff were friendly and gave useful information, though understanding them took some effort because their English wasn't very good. They helped me book a tuk tuk and a bus to Inle Lake. Breakfast is a rooftop buffet, and the restaurant is good too. The internet was a little unstable.

Clean place and helpful staff, but the room was tiny, with the double bed touching three walls. There are lots of backpackers passing through, so it's easy to find people to talk with. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. Just don't expect the Ritz.
