The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and we can't wait to come back. Our room was clean and really comfortable.

The riverfront setting is hard to beat, with individual twin room cottages in a great spot. The free breakfast was limited in choice but good. We skipped the restaurant and bar since they seemed more expensive than most places in town. The main problem was the beds: in both rooms we tried, the springs poked through the mattresses, so we put a double-layered duvet on top to get some relief. At the price we paid, that wasn't what we expected. Housekeeping and the manager were apologetic and helpful, but the property needs some sprucing up, more facilities, and more comfortable beds.

The manager was very kind and made sure our requests as a family of four were taken care of. He even arranged a Western breakfast, although the usual offering was only a Myanmar buffet. We also enjoyed the spacious, very clean rooms, the garden, and the river view. It's a lovely spot to have a beer and watch the sunset.

The riverside villa we stayed in had a huge bedroom and a decent living area, with lovely green gardens around it. The balcony sunset is a must, and there's also a restaurant with a deck where you can eat or have a drink while watching the sun go down. The receptionist was lovely. The place is a bit run down, though, and I wish it were better maintained.
