The rooms were very small for what we paid, and the bathroom was dirty, with problems in the shower and tap. We even had to dispute the room price when the bill arrived. They said one person had quoted the rate and someone else handled the account. What a surprise. The plates, cups, and cutlery weren’t clean either. Breakfast had very few choices, and Burmese dessert was served only to foreign guests. Some staff seemed to give foreigners priority over local guests. The man working around breakfast and the counter in the morning acted obedient when the boss was there. When our car was backing onto the narrow, busy street, staff didn’t bother to check or help us, but they were happy to carry foreigners’ luggage right in front of us while we struggled. We booked one night because of the good reviews and the hotel’s central location. That one night was enough. We had a very bad experience and won’t return. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to enjoy your holiday. I hope the hotel pays closer attention to guests’ experiences.

The hotel was clean and nice, the room was clean, and the location was great. Breakfast was an amazing buffet. There’s also a rooftop with an incredible view, which is a shame because it isn’t set up for travelers yet. The chairs and tables were abandoned and the area wasn’t clean. I still recommend it :)

When my husband came down with a fever on our last day, which we suspect was from mosquitoes, the staff were very concerned and did all they could to help. They gave him medicine, water, and an oral rehydration supplement. They were so kind. During our stay they also helped us arrange transport and things to see and do, and motorbikes were readily available to rent. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked great, the shower had hot water, and breakfast was free. My husband and I had a great experience.

It’s a great spot if you need to catch a bus to your next destination, about a five-minute walk from the clock tower. The staff are attentive and helpful, even though some speak only a little English. Beds were comfortable, the room was super clean, and breakfast was decent. I really enjoyed staying here.
