The breakfast was probably the most authentic of the ones I had in Myanmar. I really enjoyed the tasty local dishes. The room upgrade and spa facilities were much appreciated, and the design, with local objects and paintings, gave the place a special feel. The staff were very welcoming and keen to help, especially Shwe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at MGallery Nay Pyi Taw. Thanks again, I’ll definitely be back.

I paid in full on agoda for a staycation as a wedding anniversary gift for my brother and his wife. I even called the day before check-in to explain it was a gift and make sure there wouldn’t be problems. But at checkout, the staff charged them for the room in local currency anyway. The poor staff experience and missed communication were appalling. The chaotic checkout that morning completely ruined their stay and my gift gesture. Management, if you list the hotel on a platform like AGODA, make sure staff understand how the system works. I was very disappointed. If you can’t train staff for it, don’t promote the hotel through online platforms.

The place is full of natural beauty, and it’s already making me want to come back. I stayed two days for business and got a warm welcome when I arrived. The room decor was beautiful, breakfast was very good, and the service was friendly.

The food and accommodation don’t feel worth the price. Breakfast isn’t recommended if you want anything other than Asian cuisine. At 100 USD, I’d expect more than Mohinga for breakfast. The room was good, and so was the service. Staff were very friendly, though sometimes incompetent. The manager, though, was good and service oriented. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with children.
