I visited after the mega earthquake hit across NPT, and things looked very different from what I remembered from years ago. The hotel was trying to provide the best service it could. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, though the taste was below average. The housekeeping staff were great and knew what they were doing.

It's a very quiet hotel, and the breakfast should be suitable if you're eating healthily.

I stayed in the two-story building and my room smelled of cigarettes. I couldn't sleep all night. Breakfast was so-so.

The breakfast was the worst part. There wasn't enough food, and even the bread was tough. I stayed in the capitol suite, and the room was pretty great for a better price than other hotels. Still, it needed more cleaning: the floor was dusty, the balcony needed cleaning, and there were insects like geckos and mosquitoes. Aside from breakfast, it was pretty good.

The bedroom was okay, but the WC materials and amenities were very poor. Breakfast was also well below what other hotels in this hotel zone offer.
