Bagan Hmwe Hotel

The room was nice, clean, and quiet, and the rate was very affordable for what you get. The staff were friendly and did what they could to help. I couldn’t give five stars because the breakfast buffet was very basic and there was only instant coffee.

A great budget hotel, with courteous staff and clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast is good, but it sometimes runs out, so don’t miss it. They also have electric bikes to rent and laundry. The staff were really helpful with planning day visits, booking bus tickets, and arranging bike rental.

Breakfast is served on the rooftop, where you can enjoy a peaceful meal by a pond with fish. The hotel is within walking distance of local restaurants, shops, and Main Street, so the location is convenient. It was Christmas, and the hotel gave us a gift. They also helped us book bus tickets, cash only. The hotel is new, the staff are friendly, and the room was clean. The water wasn’t hot, and although the WiFi worked well at first, it later stopped working, perhaps because too many people were sharing the bandwidth. It wasn’t working even in the lobby.

This is a fairly new, no-frills hotel with affordable rates, in a convenient area not far from ostello Bello, so finding food is easy. The rooms are simple but clean, and the shower was hot with strong pressure. The staff were pleasant, accommodating, and helped us a lot. Breakfast was simple but tasty. They rent e-bikes and can arrange a tour guide if you need one. I’d come back if I’m in the area. I would have given five stars if there had been a safe in the room and at least some basic shelves or extra hooks. Also, despite the no-smoking signs, some guests open a window at the back and smoke. The cigarette smell gets into the room, which is unpleasant.
