The staff were kind and very helpful, and the lobby was impressive. The decor seems aimed at Chinese guests, with the number 8 treated as lucky throughout. It looked newly built, but the finishing was careless: the big room windows were very dirty and paint-stained, and the bathroom ceiling began leaking and made a mess. We stayed in the Diamond room, a two-bedroom suite. Because of the layout, the "Master" bedroom had two single beds while the double bed was in the other room. Breakfast offered a wide selection and made-to-order eggs. Most dishes were simple but tasty, and staff kept it open late for guests. The hotel is far from the center in a mostly residential area with bad roads. There are no services nearby or within walking distance, and taxis to the center cost 5-6,000 kyat each way. I wouldn't stay here again.

The service was very good, and it was a quiet place with a good parking area. There isn't a swimming pool. Even in a non-smoking room, expect to notice smoke smells in the hotel.

It's an average hotel, perhaps more suited to Chinese tastes. The room was average too, and breakfast was just normal. I could hear the next-door toilet flushing and water running through the pipes.
