What made this my best hotel stay in SE Asia was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar have great views, and the hotel itself is clean and well located. Breakfast was delicious, the beds comfortable, and guests can use bicycles for free. Five stars from me.

The rooftop cocktail bar is my favorite part. It’s cozy, and the table and chair design makes it feel like you’re sitting on a tree trunk while looking up at the sky. Try the Daiquiri or Margrita, they’re quite good. I wouldn’t try the other cocktails. The room is okay, and housekeeping is better than at other hotels of the same rank in Mandalay. Laundry is good too. Reception is always active and ready to help when there’s a room service problem. Breakfast is just okay.

My wife was especially happy to find yogurt at breakfast, which had lots of choices and was great overall. We had a very good stay. The staff were helpful, the rooms very clean, and the rooftop view was nice. The rooms were very nice and the price was low. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
