It’s in a quiet spot, but the bed and pool weren’t very clean. There wasn’t much choice at breakfast. I wouldn’t rent an e-bike from the hotel, since the service just outside costs less.

The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and the pool was big. We couldn’t order just one glass of wine at the restaurant, as they seemed to offer only bottles. Maybe there was a language barrier, since neither the waiter nor the receptionist spoke English that evening. No big deal, though, we had wine for the whole stay 😉

Kaungseng Palace Hotel is a relaxing place, with spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff relations were good and reassuring, and I felt what I paid was worth it.

The pool was great to come back to after a long day visiting stupas and temples. The hotel was good, and the staff were very nice. Dinner was alright, though not many guests seemed to eat there. I didn’t try the spa.

The internet connection was poor, and although the staff were friendly, they didn’t seem to know their own city or the main places to visit very well. For our U$ 50 per night budget, the value was bad. I know Yangon is an expensive city, but I wouldn’t recommend this noisy hotel.
