We planned to stay three nights but left after just one. At 6 a.m., noise from the restaurant upstairs woke us as tables and chairs were being moved. The bedsheets weren't fully dry, the toilet seat was yellow, and the bathroom was dirty, including the basin, tap, shower, and floor. There were ants and other insects too.

For two people sharing a double room, breakfast included, we paid 85,000 MMK per night. Pyay has few hotels still open, and this one worked well as a base for visiting pagodas or taking a tuktuk tour to the archaeological site. The room was generally clean, with hot water and generator power available around the clock. They were also flexible about checkout.

They even gave us a free ride to the bus station when we left. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms felt modern and had everything we needed, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast had a good range of choices and a lovely city view. We had a great stay!

There’s a nice view of Na Wa Day Bridge from the rooftop, where breakfast is served. The room was roomy, and the bath had both hot and cold water. Just call reception if you need extra room shoes or slippers, since they only leave one pair in the room.

I stayed one night last December and found it a nice place. The staff were helpful, the room was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was amazing, with views of the city and pagoda. I'll come back.
