The rooms feel brand new, from the beds and linen to the towels and bathroom, and everything was so clean. We loved staying here. It’s a good choice for travelers on a budget, and we’ll definitely stay again if we return to PyinOoLwin. Thanks, Hotel One. Keep it up.

There’s plenty of hot water and the internet was fast. The room also has a desk and wardrobe, which made it convenient to use. The one drawback was having just a single usable power outlet.

The staff were especially helpful with arranging a driver for the waterfalls and onward to Mandalay. We stopped here overnight while traveling from Hsipaw to Mandalay, and the room was simple but clean. Breakfast was pretty standard compared with other hotels in Myanmar. It’s outside the busiest central area, but the train station is an easy 15-minute walk away, as are the restaurants around Purcell Tower. For the lake, you’d probably need a taxi or tuktuk.
