Hotel Win

The main drawback is that electricity isn't available around the clock. They run the generator only in the evening, so staying here while trying to work online could be difficult. Wi-Fi also gets bad when the hotel is crowded, especially in the evening. The rooms are tidy and nice, and the staff are very helpful and hospitable. Parking is limited too, with room for only 5 cars in front of the hotel.

I had a good one-night stay and didn't run into any problems. The place is fairly new, clean, and good value, and all the staff were polite and kind. I'll stay again when I'm in Pyin Oo Lwin.

They let me check in early, and the manager was helpful. The rooms were clean too. But during the very busy season, both rooms they offered me had faults. The staff promised to take care of them, though my own stay still gets only 2 stars. The early check-in and helpful attitude earn those 2 stars.

There was no laundry service, unlike at the other hotels we stayed in Myanmar. The breakfast staff also pushed in front of us at the buffet, and the air conditioning and refrigerator shut off whenever we left the room. When we first entered, the room smelled strongly of air freshener. I found the fresheners hanging on a lamp and handed them to staff. Opening the windows only revealed a mothball smell, so we had to search the room and remove the mothballs ourselves. A week after getting home, we still had to wash our clothes and other belongings twice to get rid of the smell.
