The location is nice, but the room views are really bad. Honestly, there’s nothing good about them.

The power is the main frustration: right now, electricity is available for only a few hours a day. Could suit you if you want a digital detox, though. We like bringing our bikes to get around. Kandawgyi and Kandawlay Lakes are both an easy 10-15 minute walk, and there are plenty of coffeeshops and restaurants nearby or a short tuktuk ride away. The hotel sits between the lakes, close to everything but away from downtown’s bustle. It’s a decent quiet option on a budget. Rooms are standard, with no major problems, though nothing special. You can book by calling their local number or through Viber.

The pool is a pretty standard hotel one, but the rooms are nice and the food is quite good. I stay here whenever I visit Maymyo, and I’d recommend it.

Win unity made our Myanmar trip with its large, high-ceilinged room, big windows looking out on quiet views, and wooden floors. It was enchanting, and the staff were lovely. Nothing exceptional, really. It’s a pity what’s happening in Myanmar, otherwise we’d like to stay at the same hotel again.
