The room and bathroom were clean, decent, and comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant. Power was unavailable in town under unfortunate circumstances, so the hotel ran its generator for about three hours each day. There's a hauntingly beautiful old mosque about 100 meters away.

The top floor restaurant has a wide selection of tasty food. Rooms are a decent size, the water pressure is strong, and there's hot water. The place is about 40 meters off the main road, which makes it much quieter. Good value for a stay in Sittwe.

The restaurant served good cocktails at dinner and better than average food, and breakfast had a huge variety. They even packed me a breakfast box for the morning I left. My room was clean, with lovely bed linen, thick towels, plenty of hot water, and air-conditioning that worked well. The front desk staff spoke some English and arranged a boat ticket at no extra charge. I spent three days in Sittwe, and Memory Hotel was by far the best I found. To me, it's the only place to stay there.

My room was small but not tiny, and very clean. I was lucky to visit during Hotel Memory's 4th Anniversary, when we were treated to dinner, and the food was tasty. The staff were nice and lovely, though as in other places in Burma, there's always room to improve.

The internet was good, the room was clean, the service was nice, and the food was prefect. There was a mosquito in the room, so a small mosquito spray device is needed. The elevator is so small, it may not be suitable for a hotel like this.
