The location made it easy to get around on foot. I could walk to Sule pagoda, shopping malls, convenience stores, and lots of places to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay at Yangon Urban Hotel during the first week of December 2024. They handled all my requests promptly and even walked me to a nearby food shop, less than a 10-minute walk away. I also appreciated the room upgrade at check-in. The area had occasional power cuts, but the hotel generator kept my room supplied with electricity. I had a fantastic experience.

The service was nice, but the room could be better. The lighting was so dim my eyes got blurry trying to read a book, the shower barely worked, and my SIM had no connection.

I was speechless. The door was difficult to close, breakfast was so bad, and the staff weren't nice at all. In the morning, the staff were sleeping in the lobby.
