The room was big and the place quiet. The location is good, near downtown and the embassies, with good restaurants on the same road. But the restroom wasn’t clean, the sheets were dusty, and there were mosquitoes. Breakfast and service were so-so.

The location is good, and there’s good food at the restaurant in the hotel compound, which is very convenient. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was good. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy, but room service and cleaning weren’t quite adequate. The bathroom facilities also fell short, including the hot water.

Fourteen years ago, when I was fourteen, I came with my parents as a medical escort to Asia Royal hospital. The hotel staff were rude and said the owner didn’t like children around the building. At midnight, I was forced to leave with my uncle and aunt. I was an asthmatic child, in tears, and we couldn’t afford to compensate for the household items. Now they still can’t afford to modernize the building and stuff. 😁

It’s a compact, classic hotel with plenty of privacy and great service. The rooms are perfect, and the compound is wide. There are lots of restaurants around, and it’s very close to the famous Sanchaung walk and Myaynigone junction.

For the price, it’s not a bad place. The rooms are okay, though the bathrooms are tiny. Nights are quiet apart from stray dogs barking.
