My Hotel Myanmar

The room was spacious, but old, dusty, and fitted with outdated facilities. You still open the door with a key rather than a smart card. The lift is very old and has a strange smell, so the first impression isn't good. I also found two small cockroaches in the bathroom when I went to shower, and there was no hot water. I'd strongly suggest checking the place out before deciding to stay.

There were loads of cockroaches. I left food on the table, and when I came back there were at least 10-15 roaches on it. Holy moly. They seem to hide in the wooden furniture, which should be removed. My scores: breakfast 1/5, room 2/5, view 3/5, food 1/5, overall 1.8/5.

The rooms lost points for me because the hot water was sporadic, and bird droppings made the balcony unusable. They did provide storage, which was good, but having a pet meant they had me over a barrel. My "foreigner rate" was twice what locals paid, and they even charged foreigners different laundry rates. That's ridiculous at best, racist at worst.

Near Sanchaung, Myaynigone Township, this hotel is popular with young people. Sanchaung is densely populated in Yangon, but the hotel still gives us good vibes.
