Liberty Hotel

We stayed for one night last month and wished we had longer. The location is great, the hotel is wonderful, and every staff member was welcoming and professional. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view. It wasn't one of the newly renovated rooms, but was still beautiful and comfortable. I loved the shower and all the in-room amenities, and the dining room is gorgeous. We'd happily stay again, and I'd recommend it.

The staff were amazing and helped us with several different requests. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the hot showers good. Breakfast buffet was decent too. Really nice hotel, highly recommended!

We'd stayed at Jasmine Palace Hotel, Yangon many times and thought of ourselves as loyal guests. This visit was a huge disappointment. Our group had booked 11 rooms ahead and paid a reservation fee, but on arrival we were told the hotel had only 10 extra beds in the entire property. They wouldn't provide more, while still wanting to charge extra-person fees. For a large hotel calling itself a luxury hotel, that's hard to believe. It was already around 10-11 p.m., and the staff couldn't resolve the issue. They also couldn't refund our reservation money right then, saying we could only get it the next day. We had to move to another hotel that night. We felt disrespected and let down by the poor service and lack of professionalism. As a local customer, I sincerely advise tourists and groups to think twice. This was far from what a luxury hotel should provide.

The room was large and clean, with a good view from a high floor. The location is good, and you can use Grab Plus to get around and pay the taxi fare in cash. The hotel buffet breakfast was good, with an omelette and noodle live station. Internet was quite fast.
