Ocean Pearl Inn III

The low rate makes sense for a place so close to Sule pagoda. All the male staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast matched the photos on the booking site. The breakfast tables are in the shared area beside reception, and the Wi-Fi was pretty weak in the room. Getting there means climbing old wooden stairs to the third floor, with the stair entrance through a photocopy shop. The rooms have no windows and thin walls, so you can clearly hear the people next door. The bathrooms looked clean but were very old, and there were lots of ant trails, perhaps because it's an old building.

For a couple of nights, this is a decent, cheap hostel downtown. The staff were really helpful and nice, and breakfast was good. Unfortunately, all the rooms are windowless.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms are small and basic, not especially nice but alright. Unfortunately, there was a rat in our room. They chased it out but didn't catch it, and it just went into the next room.

I left with a great impression after booking a single room, and I'd definitely come back. The service was excellent and breakfast was tasty. Thanks! ✨
