Cockroaches were all over the room, even on the bed, and in the bathroom too. We couldn't sleep because of them. The Wi-Fi was very bad. Bad place, guys.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was the usual mix of noodles, rice, and fruit. The hotel is convenient for the airport or bus station, around 5-6,000 for a taxi. You'll need taxis to get around, though, and if the main sights are your focus, you'd be better off staying elsewhere. Still, it's a decent hotel.

The place feels cozy and quiet, and being set back from the main road is a plus. Staff were helpful, and the price is affordable. There aren't any windows for fresh air, though, and the landline is broken. I even left something in the room and still got good service.

The breakfast stands out in my memory: everything was fresh and there was plenty of it. Okkala hotel also felt newly built, with fresh equipment and furnishings. I found its service better than at the other hotels where I've stayed.
