The bathroom smelled, and I found hair on the bed and period stains on the couch. I couldn't tell whether the bedding had even been washed. Breakfast wasn't good, and the price is high, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I felt safe walking the halls as a young woman visiting a foreign country, and the owners always greeted us with smiles. I never felt ignored. The staff looked after our family and were considerate and helpful, whether we had a bad wifi connection, needed to check work email on the front desk computer, or needed extra utensils. They also listened when I commented on the room cleaning, though I wish the floors had been vacuumed and mopped more often. I sometimes found dust on my feet. Downstairs, I enjoyed the magazine collection, with books in English and Burmese, and the Patio was a favorite spot to unwind because its furniture was sturdy and comfortable. The owners also suggested places to eat. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit. Thank you, Khattar :D

We spent almost a month here with our two little kids, and I'd definitely stay again. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and very nice. It’s a family owned and operated place, on a quiet street in a good, safe neighborhood. There’s a varied breakfast with both East and West choices, and the staff are polite and professional. Two world class hospitals are within walking distance. I walked to Asia Royal Hospital a couple of times when I felt unwell, and it took about 8 minutes. No, they didn't pay me to write this. I hardly ever leave reviews, but wanted to show my appreciation for the owner's and staff's kindness. Thanks, guys, see you when I come back, hopefully soon.

I forgot to take fruit at breakfast, so a waitress with a sweet smile brought me a fruit platter. That little kindness is enough to make me want to come back again and again.
