The breakfast has become less satisfying, and the staff seem careless with poor customer service. The receptionist's expression was very unfriendly and intimidating. On busy days, housekeeping can't keep up, leaving rooms dirty. They also ask guests to pay in advance before clearly confirming or assigning a room. If spending your own money here is going to leave you stressed or disappointed, I'd avoid this hotel.

The owner has changed, and the hotel feels completely run down now. Prices and room rates have gone up while service has become terrible. They don't call to ask about breakfast time, and room cleaning isn't available during a stay. When you call them, they don't answer the phone.

The room wasn't good. The shower only had water at a normal temperature, neither hot nor cold. Facilities were limited to water and a packet of coffee mix.

Quiet place, fair price, and tasty breakfast. The Mote Hin Gar is really good.

Quiet, and seems suitable for local guests. There are some issues with the hot water line and sanitation, and the breakfast wasn't okay.
