The hotel is old and smelled bad, and the carpet looked dirty. We booked six rooms through Hana Tour for one night with coworkers and family, and three of the six rooms had air conditioners that didn’t work. There were no phones in the rooms to call reception, and the receptionist couldn’t speak English. When I complained at the front desk, they said they would fix things the next day. We wanted rooms with working air conditioning, but got no apology or explanation. We packed our bags and waited in the lobby, then called our guide to help sort it out. Eventually the manager came and said she could move us, still without apologizing. We had to ask for an apology ourselves, and it came late. We checked in around 10:00, but didn’t get moved until around 12:00 after midnight. The hotel was awful, and so was Hana Tour. This is not a Four Star hotel. It’s a one star hotel.

If you want a quiet stay in the city, definitely avoid this hotel. The bar, restaurant, and nightclub are loud until 4am and disturb you through the night.

The facilities are old, and the TV doesn’t work. Wi-Fi comes and goes. The worst part is the KTV on the hotel’s third floor. I was staying on the 8th floor and could still hear the singing from below, even at 2 am. It was awful.

Worst experience of my life! First, they made me pay before I could get the room. I paid, but it was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. I asked if they could clean the bathroom and provide some amenities that should have been included. They said their work was hard and they had to clean as quickly as possible, and claimed my room was cleaner than other rooms they’d cleaned! Ordering food was impossible. And to top it off, they didn’t even provide a bottle of water for the room. I had to pay for every single thing.

The breakfast was good and the room was nice. The room card did stop working at times, though. I hope they fix that soon so guests can enjoy their stay.
