The rooms are modern and comfortable, and breakfast is quite nice. By Shangri La standards, the hotel itself is okay. What let it down for me was the gym, pool and spa: outside guests can use the area with a membership, so it was nearly impossible to enjoy. It was packed on a Monday morning, we had to queue for the sauna, and the whole experience was unpleasant. The services don't justify the high price.

The service is generally good, and the hotel is spacious and nice. It's well suited to conferences and parties. Right in the heart of Ulanbataar, it's probably the best hotel in the city. Shangri-La mall is only 20 second from the entrance, with restaurants, shops, a supermarket and a fitness club.

I found this place very discriminatory. Even after paying for the service, if you arrive from a trip out of the countryside with clothes that are a little dirty, their service to you drops to 0%. I don't recommend this place or Mongolia!!!

We were so happy with our stay here. The staff, service and facilities were all faultless, and for me this is easily the best place to stay in Ulaanbaatar.

The hospitality was great, and I was very happy staying here. It's a luxury hotel with excellent food. I loved the ribs in the club lounge and the smoothie section at breakfast. Many thanks to Monica for taking care of us and offering me a bigger wine glass. The shopping center and hospital aren't too far away, and the airport is 1 hour by car.
