The Karl Lagerfeld

The room was spacious, comfortable, and carefully kept, with decor so striking it felt like spending the night in a fashion exhibition curated by Karl himself. We were welcomed throughout our stay by staff who were warm, attentive, and professional, and somehow made the service feel both heartfelt and elegant. The design is what you notice everywhere at The Karl Lagerfeld at Grand Lisboa Palace. Bold interiors and small details carry Karl Lagerfeld’s signature style, making the hotel feel like a living design piece. From the moment we walked in, luxury, art, and his vision came together in a way that made the stay unforgettable. Everything from the atmosphere to the service went beyond what we expected. We’d happily return. For Karl Lagerfeld fans, design lovers, or anyone who values a high-quality hotel stay, this place is a must-visit.

Around 6 this morning, I was panicking and rushing to catch my flight. The woman at the front desk quickly figured out a way to sort out my immediate problem, and I made it onto the plane. I’m really grateful for her thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. She’s clearly capable of handling more.

The bed was wide and comfortable, and I slept well. The room has black and red decor with an oriental feel, a bit like Fendi. I’d seen the pretty interior on my last Macau trip, when I stayed at the Versace Hotel, so I booked Karl Lagerfeld this time. Karl Lagerfeld is a legend who brought Chanel and Fendi to the top. The hotel is inside Grand Lisboa Palace and connects to the casino, so getting there is easy. The bathroom amenities match those at the Versace Hotel, though the cases are really pretty. Drinks and beer in the minibar are complimentary once, but I only found out on my last day and missed them. The indoor pool is lovely, but it seemed nearly empty, maybe because everyone was busy gambling. The outdoor pool was due to open in August, so I couldn’t use it. The gym has top Technogym equipment. Versace offered turndown service, but I’m not sure whether Karl Largefeld does too. The staff are friendly, and it’s definitely a good hotel. It has received 5 stars from Forbes Travel Guide.

The bed was so cozy I didn’t want to get up, and the room looked even better in person than in the photos. Karl Lagerfeld designed everything in the room himself, with a beautiful, creative “when Europe meets China” theme. I also liked the golden bathroom. The amenities are from Karl Lagerfeld’s own brand, smell good, and are good quality. The minibar is free, and you get everything you need. It’s a bit far from the city, but there are lots of shuttle buses. I love this new hotel and highly recommend it.
