W Macau - Studio City

The staff who checked us in, Wei Wei and Lu Lu, helped bring together our two rooms under separate bookings. They also suggested some local hidden gems and helped us look them up. Front of house and housekeeping were helpful, always greeting us and ready to assist. Both rooms were great in their own way. One was oversized with nice views; the other was smaller but had an amazing golden galaxy hotel view from the bathtub. The location in the studio city area worked well for kids, and the shuttle bus depot right next door made it easy to get anywhere. Another amazing Macau luxury stay, as always.

The price for my four nights seemed low, and I’d recommend the hotel. I was there on a business trip in the middle of May, staying at Studio City, with lots of places to eat nearby as well as shops and a casino. As a Marriott Ambassador, I received an upgrade from my booked room to a huge Marvelous suite with a separate bedroom, guest toilet and powder room, and living room. It was impeccably clean, and the soundproofing meant I couldn’t hear anything from outside. The staff were attentive to every request, and the service was excellent, except at checkout. Breakfast at the restaurant had a huge range of dishes. Blind Tiger on the top floor served excellent cocktails, though I especially liked the lounge bar for its drinks, bar snacks, and service. The hotel’s neoclassical atmosphere suited the complex it’s part of.

There are lots of food choices just downstairs, and the shuttle bus service is handy. The location is excellent, right by The Parisian, with an easy indoor walk to The Londoner and The Venetian. My stay was fantastic, and Jimmy, Jason, and Eddie gave outstanding service that made it even better. I’d definitely choose W Hotel again next time.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a huge variety and pretty much anything you could want. Our room was roomy and beautifully designed, and the city views were amazing. W Macau felt spotless and properly luxurious, while the friendly staff made us feel welcome the whole time. I can’t think of a single area that fell short of 10/10. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and Marriott never disappoints.
