We stayed three nights. The only real drawback was hearing the next room’s door open and shut. Soundproofing isn’t great, though it was bearable. For a budget trip around Macau, the value and location worked well. There are lots of restaurants nearby, a bus stop right outside, and Pai Kok LRT station is less than a 10-minute walk away. Our room was clean, the aircon, hot shower and TV worked well, and there were enough charging points, including USB and Type-C. There’s also a hot and cold water dispenser on every floor. The front desk staff were helpful.

Amy at reception was fantastic, and the rest of the staff were extremely polite and helpful. I had a comfortable four-night stay with professional, hospitable service. The room was clean and had a TV, slippers, toiletries, hot water and a hair dryer. They brought me a steam iron when I asked. The location was superb, and it was the cheapest hotel in the whole Taipa district. Amy, if you’re reading this, do drop me a line!

There’s a local running track three minutes away, open daily from 8am to 11pm. That’s one reason I’d still pick this hotel for its location, with the Taipa food street nearby and easy access to the rest of Macau. The reception girls are friendly. This was my second stay. The room felt a bit smaller this time, and there was a smoky smell, though I’m not sure if it came from the aircon or somewhere else. Water leaked through a tiny gap in the shower door toward the toilet, so I asked the cleaning lady to replace the wet mat each day.

For a 2-star hotel, it’s great value, clean, and nicely designed. They even provide toiletries and slippers. Rua do Cunha is just a few steps away, and the staff are nice.

The cleaning lady was friendly and very polite, and leaving our bags there for the full day after checkout was useful. Late check-in was fine. Our twin room was clean, modern and practical. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Macau 🇲🇴. 😊
