Himawari Hotel

Himawari made for a great meal, from the cozy Japanese decor to the attentive service. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and took time to explain the different kinds of sushi, which we appreciated. I had the sushi platter, with very fresh fish and beautifully put-together pieces. The ramen was just as good, with tender noodles and a rich broth. There’s a wide selection, including sushi and tempura. The warm atmosphere and quality food made the visit feel special. Whether you already like Japanese food or want to try it, Himawari is a place I’d recommend. I’m looking forward to going back.

There’s a market and a restaurant on the first floor, which was really convenient. The place is also close to the test center, and the location worked well for getting around on tours without renting a car. The price was reasonable. People looking for a water park at an expensive hotel might not like it as much.

Good selection of reasonably priced bento boxes, plus some really nice desserts and breads. It’s all good, definitely worth trying.

It can get busy, but the lines move quickly, and the service is good. The building is old, though clean, which is what matters to me. It’s a Japanese store, vendor, restaurant, and hotel, with outstanding breakfast, ready-made Japanese bentos, baked breads, fresh hot soups, and fresh desserts. Prices are reasonable too.
