We had no real service issues, and the service was pretty good. The rooms are great, though the pool could use a more thorough clean each time. I know people get lazy. Once, we were given a room with no power and had to move, which I appreciated being able to do. It’s also a great place for parties outside or by the pool.

The room was roomy, with a kitchen and freezer, and the AC worked, so it was decent overall. It did feel old and dark, and the carpet looked worn. Getting around may be an issue, though you can ask the casino front desk for a free shuttle to the resort if you stop by the casino.

This was in January 2018. The owner was kind enough to let us check in early, and staff helped me mail postcards. There was plenty of parking. There were trees around, but no insect bites.

It’s still under renovation, but you can get to your room without trouble. It’s a good place to rest and unwind. I took off a star because pool use now costs extra, and you only get four swimming tags.

Mango Resorts has clean, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, and good resort service. It’s quiet and convenient for a beach vacation, though it doesn’t feel like a luxury hotel.
