World Resort

The water park information workers were easily the best part of our staycation. They were super friendly and nice, and made the trip worth it. The rest of the stay was just okay. Two kettles in a row didn't work, so I had to replace the kettle twice. There were no toothbrushes in the room, and I had to call the front desk to ask for some. I'm pregnant, and when I asked if they could put us in a room near the elevator, they said they could. At check-in, though, they put us at the far end of the hallway. When I went to check out, the desk told me I had to go back up to get the second key. I explained that it was in the light slot, and asked if they could call room service to check. I'd seen the cleaning staff on our floor before I left, but they still wouldn't verify it. I was pregnant and had to walk all the way back for the card and bring it down. I understand there may be a procedure, but a little more consideration would have helped.

That was the best water slide I've ever tried, and I loved everything about this place. ♡

I went to the Wailers concert with a General Admission ticket, but an unused overhead canopy frame and a banner blocked the view near the bottom of my sightline. Hopefully the setup is planned better next time.

I was really disappointed with the buffet. The crab legs I cooked in the pot smelled bad, and the food I had last night wasn't good. Before we went, I called to ask whether the buffet included unlimited alcoholic drinks. They said yes, but once we got there, those drinks weren't included.
