The palm trees around the grounds are nice, but that's about the only thing that felt worth the price. The houses are old and in poor shape, with mold in several places and a shower door missing some wheels. The place smelled bad, and it would help if they aired it out and checked that everything worked before guests arrived. Our dishwasher was broken for days before anyone fixed it. The advertised Wi-Fi didn't work, and the staff don't speak English at all. If you can find someone, they might be able to sort out a problem. There are ants everywhere, and management seems far more focused on the inventory and the ridiculous €500 deposit than on pest control, which would do more for guests' comfort. There are endless rules, including signing an inventory when you arrive. Check-out feels like a total room inspection at kindergarten, as if guests were being treated like criminals. It feels like Airbnb, only worse. The east coast location is poor, with lots of seaweed and a really bad smell during the day. The only garbage dump is 500m away. The curtains only partly block the huge lights shining everywhere at night, so bring an eye cover. There are enough plates, but the utensils are limited, old-fashioned, and very worn. There's no oven, just a microwave, so you can't do much with the kitchen. That makes an aparthotel like this pretty useless.

We had a lovely time here. The village is pleasant and clean, and the staff are helpful. I especially loved the pool, the water was clean the whole time. It's a nice place for families looking to relax. Just remember to bring essentials like shampoo and toilet paper, since there's no shop in the village.

The pool is the best part of the place, and the grounds are tidy and well kept. Both the villas and bungalows seem like pleasant places to stay. The main drawbacks are the afternoon closures of reception and the poolside bar/restaurant, even when paying guests still want to use them. The nearby beach is often covered with rotting sargassum. It smells horribly, like rotten eggs, across that part of the island, and makes the beach impossible to enjoy. It's not the establishment's fault, but the smell and lack of beach access nearly ruined our visit.

The bungalow's porch was a great place to unwind, and the pool was lovely. Parking was easy, and the pool towels you can rent were big and really nice. Our bungalow was cute, with bunk beds in the second room, so it could have worked comfortably for four even though there were just two of us. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the reception desk team when it was open. Inside, the bed wasn't comfortable, the pillows were very thin, and one sheet wasn't enough when the nights got cool. Our freezer smelled bad, and we could have used extra towels and toilet paper. There were also lots of cats visiting the porch. The bar wasn't open often enough. Prices for food and drinks were reasonable, and the drinks were good, though I didn't like the pizza. That may just be my taste, since other people seemed to enjoy it. We asked for ice a few times because it was advertised as available, but never got any. It seemed to be a touchy subject. The beach smell is very bad. You can't swim or hang out there, although there were some water sports. I don't blame the hotel for the seaweed. Nearby restaurants were good and friendly, though, like many places on the island, they weren't open often, and the smell reached them too. Not everyone speaks English, and that's fine. It's a French island.

The villa was clean and spacious, and it worked well for a family. You'll need a car for errands, though food and restaurants are available nearby. The beach is the real downside, with rotting sargassum covering it and a terrible smell. The villa sits far enough away that the odor doesn't reach it. The French armed forces have been called in to help with the cleanup, but they're losing the battle.
