The hotel sits high on the hill, so if walking is difficult, I’d recommend having a car. There’s no shop or bar on site, though reception can take orders for pastries and baguettes for the next morning. Getting there takes some effort, but the place is worth it. We had a great pool with quality sunbeds and views across the bay. Our room had big beds, a fantastic view and everything needed for self-catering. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a guide to the facilities.

There’s a steep, fairly long climb up from the beach, but parking outside was easy to find. We stayed in a lovely apartment with a real Caribbean feel, a well-equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom and a great view across the bay below. You can order baguettes and croissants for breakfast at reception. The first day’s order was included.

The room was wonderfully private and quiet, with no upstairs neighbors and just one shared wall. I booked at the last minute for a short stay and was very happy with the choice. The property has beautiful views, and the pool was spotless and perfect for unwinding. It was easy and safe to walk to the nearby beach or a charming patisserie. I also loved the comfortable bed, modern shower and handy in-room kitchen. The front desk team were attentive, friendly and helpful. The young woman on the day shift had a lovely charm that added warmth to the stay. Breakfast was disappointing, just milk and juice in shelf-stable aseptic containers, which hardly felt like breakfast. This isn’t a place for sunset views either. Still, the privacy, amenities and service were so good I’d happily come back.

We stayed for 9 nights and really enjoyed it. The people were friendly and spoke French, English and German. Our room was spotless, had a proper kitchen, and the view over the bay from the top floors was great. You can order breakfast, and it was free on the first night. We’ll come back!
