South 32 Hotel by Zzzing

We had a very early flight on our last day, and the staff kindly put together a full breakfast for us to take. We really appreciated that. The service was the best part of our stay: everyone was kind, efficient, and always willing to help, so we felt comfortable the whole time. The hotel was quiet, clean, and good value. The room was missed during cleaning one day, but once we mentioned it, they promised it wouldn’t happen again, and it didn’t. We’d happily stay again and recommend it.

It’s a quiet place with a decent amount of parking. There isn’t much nearby, though some high streets are a 10-20 minute walk away, or you can take the bus. The staff were friendly and tried their best, even if English was a bit difficult for them. The pool was much nicer than the website pictures, and with no music or anyone else up there, we enjoyed having it to ourselves for a couple of hours. The rooms have been redecorated, but there are still visible snagging issues everywhere. Smaller interior rooms share an internal courtyard with the other floors, so be aware that sounds carry a lot. A few sea-facing rooms have their own hot tub and balcony, so book early if you want one. Bring an adaptor too, as they use European plugs. I think most other places use UK plugs.

I’m here for half a day before my flight. The staff are kind, the room is clean, and I’d recommend the place. One thing I don’t like is the online check-in and the extra online request for a €1 fee for the Autorithy of Malta. Guys, sorry, everyone charges that fee. Just include it in the total price.
