Private Room With Ensuite Groundfloor

I liked the quiet, safe feel of this little place and its history as a squadron leader's home from the WW II era. It's close to the airport and a main road, but still feels tucked away, with no nightclub nearby. The courtyard was lovely, and I listened to music on YouTube along with the birds outside. The smart TV needs your own Netflix account or similar if you want to watch shows. My room was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and the shared living room looked nice. The bathroom is small, with the shower in the same area as the toilet and sink. The tiled floors are a nice touch. There was fresh hot and cold water in pitchers for tea or coffee, plus bottled water and herbal tea in the bedroom. I was the only guest there that day. I had booked months earlier and emailed the owner many times since I hadn't traveled much or been to Malta before. He replied promptly and politely as each answer led to more questions. I was welcomed kindly and shown how everything worked. Since I had to leave before breakfast, they packed me a brunch to take along. It was a reasonable price and just right for my one night before a flight. Have a look at my photos and see if it suits you.

Marvik is a great guy, and the place itself was very nice. One thing to plan for, the buses around here weren't running until July 4th, and the government hadn't made that clear. If you stay here, be ready to take a taxi to Valletta. Malta's government should do a better job.

Our room was immaculate, with a lovely ensuite and great air conditioning. We arrived close to midnight, and Mavrik was excellent, even collecting us from the airport. Breakfast was delicious, and Agnes was so lovely and friendly. Every detail was taken care of. It's a wonderful place with beautiful, welcoming people, and we'll definitely come back.

The room felt cozy, with a big bed, plenty of towels, and air conditioning that worked properly. Breakfast was great before our early flight, and the airport is about a 20-minute walk away. Someone smokes in the hall.
