Mariosa looked after everything and was helpful, polite, and always smiling. Thanks to her, we had a good stay. The spacious room was clean, the bathroom was fine, and there was always hot water for a relaxing bath after a long day. The residential area is very beautiful. Breakfast was basic but enough. We booked 3 nights. The bus stop is nearly 15 mins away on foot, and since the place is on the other end of the city, you may need a travel card. The main downside was that the rooms aren't soundproof. We could clearly hear a woman in the next room making intimate sounds, which was embarrassing with our teenage son there.

I never actually stayed at the property, so I can't comment on it. I booked and then had to cancel because of a family problem. Free cancellation had already expired, but I politely asked whether they might consider a refund or let me use the booking another time. They didn't even reply. That's quite a display of professionalism and customer care.

We stayed the night for our wedding, and the owner had decorated the room to make the day feel special. That was really sweet of them. The rooms have what you need, plus a welcome pack with juice, coffee, tea, water, and a chocolate croissant. Some rooms have lovely terraces, and there's also a small apartment you can book with a kitchen, oven, washing machine, and more. The place looks modern, though it could use a little maintenance. Even so, I'd recommend it.

Mariosa was so helpful and kind while I was there. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Malta.

Mariosa and her husband made us feel at home at Estrella Lodging. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and even came with a kitchen. Breakfast was decent, though the choice wasn't especially varied or generous. For the price, the quality was among the best I've experienced. I'd recommend it for a few days in Malta.
