Monica is so attentive, and nothing seems to be a problem for her. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room, plus a shared fridge on the landing, which came in handy. The pool was cold, but that was welcome in the warm weather. It’s a quiet spot at the end of town, with the cliffs a short walk away. Just know the footpath is very rocky. I’d recommend the hotel, though the lift isn’t working at the moment, which could be difficult for older guests or anyone with limited mobility.

The deep pool was kept at a perfect temperature, and it was easy to spend ages relaxing beside it. Villa Serenity is a peaceful place, and the owners, Stefano and Monica, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area and its restaurants were pleasant to explore, and breakfast had plenty of good options. You could also order different drinks during the day. I’d recommend staying here for a calm break, and hope to come back myself.

Getting around was easy: Villa Serenity is near a bus stop, with connections to Victoria and from there to the rest of the island. It’s also close to the cliffs. What really made our stay was the helpful staff, who shared ideas for interesting places and excursions. They checked in with us each day about how we were and whether we wanted the room cleaned. The room was spotless, the staff were fantastic, and we enjoyed the private pool and delicious homemade breakfast. We loved our stay and will definitely choose Villa Serenity again when we visit Gozo.

The rooms are spacious, and the setting is peaceful. We had food delivered and ate on the terrace by the lovely pool, which was really nice. We didn't feel completely comfortable with the service, though. The staff were pleasant but inflexible about timings. Check-in was at 3, and when we asked to come earlier and use the pool, they said we could from 2 pm. Checkout was at 11, but when we asked to stay by the pool a little longer, they wanted to charge extra. The pool area was empty both times.

The villa is in a great spot, close to a bus stop that made it easy for my wife and me to get around the island. Monica was a charming, helpful hostess. If we come back, we hope to stay here again.
