The Snop House

Shawn was so kind and helpful during my five-night stay at The Snop House in August 2025. I found the room quiet, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, and I liked the location. Breakfast was delicious, with a local specialty included each day. The rooftop honesty bar was another favorite, a beautiful place to have a drink at sunset.

Shawn was really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious every morning. I booked the room through American Express and it turned out to be a winner. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a comfortable bed. We’d definitely recommend Snop House!

The neighborhood was calm and peaceful, and getting around was easy, with two shops next door and a bus stop about 10 meters away. We had a wonderful stay after booking through Booking.com. The staff were so kind when we arrived around four hours before check-in, letting us leave our bags at reception and checking us in as soon as the room was ready. The room was cleaned daily, and they replenished the free bottled water in the fridge along with the coffee and tea. The modern bathroom had a spacious shower and all sorts of useful things, including towels, shampoo, hair caps, and slippers. Thick walls kept things quiet, and the air conditioning made the room comfortable. Upstairs, there was a charming honesty bar with beer and local wine. You just noted what you’d had and paid at checkout. Breakfast was generous, with ham, cheese, salami, jams, eggs, bread, croissants, different coffees, and fresh orange juice, as well as a different specialty dish each day.

We stayed here recently in September 2025, travelling from Canada, and loved it. Sean and the team at the Snop House were incredibly hospitable. It was safe and clean, and Sean knew a lot about Malta and what to do in and around the area. Thank you to him and the team.
