Plaza Suite Regency Hotel

We returned with my husband and friends and had another very enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless and had wonderful views. The location makes it easy to walk out and find everything you need, including bus stops right nearby. A very pleasant gentleman welcomed us on arrival, and the reception team, room attendants and breakfast staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. They're a real credit to the hotel. Thanks again!

The bus stop is right outside, with services in both directions, and the hotel is in a brilliant location. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was absolutely spotless. We were given the wrong room on the first day, but they sorted it the next morning and moved us. We had bed and breakfast, with plenty of food and drink choices for everyone. Highly recommend!

Clean and functional, but dark and cramped This three-star hotel does the job if you only need somewhere to sleep, though it has some serious drawbacks. My room was clean and well maintained, but had absolutely no windows. It felt very dark and claustrophobic, and that was a dealbreaker for me. The shower and bathroom were incredibly small and uncomfortable. It's fine for a short stay if all you want is a clean bed, but there's nothing special about it. A windowless room just isn't acceptable for a pleasant holiday. Absolute disappointment, a room without a window like a storage room.

The location was good, with shops and restaurants nearby, and it was a nice surprise to find I could take a bus straight to the hotel. Sabita was especially helpful and friendly with all my questions and requests, even though she often seemed to be handling the front desk alone. The rest of the staff were great too, including the polite, attentive kitchen staff. Breakfast was standard but fine. I didn't use the outdoor pool, though it looked nice; the small indoor pool was fine when I had it to myself. My room was spacious and self-contained, with two single beds pushed together and beautiful views. The TV had no channels tuned in, but they fixed it when I mentioned it. The heating seemed to have a mind of its own, then I found out it switched itself off whenever a room door was opened. I'd never come across that at a hotel, but once I knew, it wasn't an issue. Good value for money, and I'd return.
