10 La Ruelle

Valletta’s historic character comes through in the building, while the recent refurbishment gives the maisonette a clean, modern feel. Our room had street views and a sea view, and the bed was especially comfortable. The place was cozy, and getting the keys was easy. Check-in was straightforward, the location puts you right in the heart of the city for a break, and management responded quickly whenever we needed help. I’d recommend it without hesitation!

The place was comfortable, practical, and nicely presented. It’s close enough to the centre of Valetta that shops, bars, and restaurants are just a short walk away, but far enough from the hub to stay quiet and tucked out of the way. Communication with the host was great throughout.

A perfect place to stay.

We chose the wrong dates by mistake, booking a month and a half ahead, and contacted the owner just minutes later. They still refused to refund us, despite Booking.com saying a refund was entirely possible. That feels like a complete lack of good faith, and we’ll take the matter to a lawyer. To the owner: this wasn’t a booking for this week or even this month. We got in touch right away, so you had no losses. This is pure fraud. We’re going to report the situation to the European Consumer Centre.
